Hi, I’m Stephanie Jackson,
Overnight Postpartum Doula
When I became a mother I experienced two very different worlds.
For my first week I had the kind of support every new parent deserves; someone beside me to help, encourage, and care for both me and my baby. After that week, my support disappeared. I experienced firsthand how deeply inadequate support can affect healing, nervous system regulation, confidence, and the monumental transition into parenthood.
That experience shaped the doula I am today.
I began my postpartum doula training in early 2020 and started supporting families professionally in 2021. While education gave me valuable knowledge, life gave me equally important qualities: empathy, patience, discernment, and a deep understanding that every family's journey is different, yet every family needs support. My role is not to tell you how your family should look or what your experience should be. My role is to listen, support, offer practical guidance, and to create space for you to heal and find your own rhythm.
Parenting is one of life's greatest transformations and one of its greatest challenges. No individual or couple should be expected to make that journey alone.
Whether our time together means helping you get restorative sleep, answering questions in the middle of the night, listening as you process the story of your birth journey, caring for your newborn while you recover, or simply offering reassurance when you need it most, my hope is always the same: That when our work together is complete, you feel rested, empowered, informed, and confident in your ability to move forward as a family.
Supporting families through the fourth trimester is an honor. I feel privileged to walk beside families during one of the most vulnerable and meaningful seasons of their lives.
My Approach
You Will Be Heard
Every family deserves the space to ask questions, express concerns, and be met with non-judgement and compassion. Listening is one of the most meaningful forms of support I can offer.
You Will Be Supported
I offer physical and emotional support primarily to the birthing person and newborn, but to the family as a whole, practical newborn guidance, and assurance that you’re not in this alone. My role is to provide calm, dependable support tailored to your family's needs.
You Will Leave with Confidence
I’m here to help you find your footing. My goal is that when our time together ends, you feel empowered to move forward with confidence in yourself and your growing family.
